Copper Mountain Lodging

Burning Stones Neighborhood. The Mill Club & Copper One Buildings. Center Village. $$$$-$$$. Walk to Lift.  The Mill Club and Copper One are located in The Burning Stones Neighborhood. The rocks are not on fire! These buildings make up the border of Burning Stones Plaza where the American Eagle high speed lift is located and it is the Main Plaza of the resort. Many events are staged here from concerts to movies to exhibitions. The are some large stone pillars ringing the plaza in which are hidden lighting and on top of which are torches, thus the name Burning Stones. The Mill Club, the more deluxe of the two buildings is a true deluxe property with premium appliances and granite countertops in the fully equipped kitchens, private balconies, leather and plush fabric upholstered funiture, gas fireplace, separate shower & tub in the master bath, free wireless internet, heated underground parking and overlooking the center village shops, restaurants and bars. The Mill Club is indeed “can’t miss lodging option” for your ski vacation.

Copper One is located next door and offers gold rated loding choices. The kitchens are fully equipped and offer some designer touches like granite counters. Gas fireplaces and private balconies along with free wireless internet, heated underground parking and a stroll right out into the center of the village location are some of the advantages of this property.

Copper Springs Lodge. Gold Rated. East Village/B Lift. $$$ Walk to Lift. Copper Springs Lodge is located in Copper’s East Village, home of the Super B six passenger lift. The Super B lift accesses intermediate and advanced terrain only, no beginner terain is available off of this lift. JJ’s Tavern is across the street in Copper Station which is adjacent to the lighted tubing hill and Copper Creek Golf Course. There is a free shuttle that departs from in front of the building to take you to the Center Village and West Village as well as the Athletic Club and Woodward at Copper. The property has a 2 hot tubs, heated underground parking, fitness room and balconies or porches off each unit. Features include gas fireplaces in the living room, one bed per bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, wireless internet access and free access to the Copper Mountain Athletic Club. These units are an excellent value.

Covered Bridge Neighborhood. Center Village. $$$-$$$$. Walk to Lift. Tucker Mountain Lodge and Trapper’s Crossing buildings make up the Covered Bridge Neighborhood. The images are of Tucker Mountain Lodge and Trapper’s Crossing in that order. Now, these two great buildings are located in the center of Copper Village. The American Eagle and American Flyer high speed lifts are a 5 minute walk away. There are shops and restaurants just downstairs and a stroll though the Village gives you a choice of eateries, bars, lounges and shopping. The residences are configured in one, two and three bedroom layouts each with private balconies, fully equipped kitchens, gas fireplaces, free wireless internet, and spacious and comfortable living and dining areas. The buildings have underground parking and outdoor hot tubs. These units are great for families with their layouts and proximity to the lifts and activities in the village.

Creekside Neighborhood. Center Village. $$-$$$ Walk to Lift. The Creekside Neighborhood consists of two buildings: Westlake Lodge and Bridge End. These buildings sit beside rushing Ten Mile Creek and are a stone’s throw from West Lake and ice skating in winter and paddleboating in summer. These two buildings are an easy 5 minute walk to the main Village lifts; The American Eagle high speed quad and the American Flyer high speed quad lift. The walk also puts you squarely in the center of Copper Village with shops, restaurants and bars. Condominium units have full sized kitchens, living area with fireplace, dining area, free wireless internet, free parking and resort shuttle and complimentary access to the Copper Mountain Athletic Club, a fully equipped health club.

Mountain Plaza Neighborhood. Center Village. $$-$$$. Walk to Lift. Mountain Plaza is in the center of it all at Copper Mountain Resort. The American Eagle & American Flyer Lifts are just across the Plaza, a 5 minute walk if you are slow. Mountain Plaza offers Hotel Rooms, One, Two and Three Bedroom Condominiums in both a Gold and Silver rating. Each residence has a large living area with glassed in balconies that offer a warm place in the Colorado sun to sit and look out at the Wheeler valley and surrounding Rocky Mountains. Fully equipped kitchens, gas fireplaces, dining area, free wireless internet and free parking are available, units with kitchens have access to heated underground parking. There are two outdoor hot tubs on site as well as ski lockers and washer and dryers in the laundry room. There are restaurants, bars and shops within easy stroll or enjoy the popular apres ski restaurant just downstairs!


Passage Point. Center Village. $$$  Walk to Lift. Passage Point features Copper Mountain Lodging’s Gold rated units and is located just across the covered bridge, an easy 5 minute walk from the main lifts at Copper Mountain. Just on the outside of the core village, Passage Point offers one, two and three bedroom condomniums. The spacious and well appointed units have private balconies or porches, gas fireplaces, flatscreen TVs, fully equipped kitchens, free wireless internet and free parking. There are 3 outdoor hot tubs which overlook Copper Mountain. Complimentary access to the Copper Mountain Athletic Club, a fully equipped fitness club, is included in the price. Passage point offers a great location with an easy walk to the village shops, restaurants and activities.

 The Cirque, West Village. $$$$ Walk to Lift. The Cirque is the most unique property at Copper Mountain. It has an interesting French colonial decor in the living area and contemporary European design in its kitchens and bedrooms. The rear outdoor deck area has a modern design to the heated pool, large hot tub, wading pool with water features, large grill and fire pit. Just off the lobby area is a small fitness room with stationary bike, weight stations and treadmill as well as a media room with large flat panel screen for watching your favorite DVDs. You have a choice of two bedroom and three bedroom configurations. The Cirque is located within 5 minute walk of the Center Village lifts or 3 minute walk to the West Village lifts and Adult and Children’s ski school. The Cirque will offer a stylish choice in accommodation and lend a unique flavor to your ski vacation.
Wheeler Neighborhood. East Village. $$$. Walk to Lift. Wheeler Neighborhood. Named after Judge Wheeler, a judge in the late 1800’s who owned the land that is now Copper Mountain. He proclaimed that one day this area would be known for its recreational opportunities. Then it was called Wheeler Flats. The Wheeler Neighborhood properties listed here are Foxpine Inn and The Greens Condominiums. (pictured in this order). Located in the East Village, these Silver rated properties are at the base of the Super Bee 6 passenger high speed lift. Foxpine Inn, is ski in-ski out and offers hotel rooms, one and two bedroom condominiums. The condominiums have full kitchens, cozy living and dining areas and bedrooms with private baths. There is Free WiFi and Free Parking, Free Resort Shuttle to the Center and West Villages and restuarants and bars are in the neighborhood. The Greens is a 100 yard walk to the lift and offers a spectacular view of the Ten Mile Range. The Greens is adjacent to the golf course in Summer. The tubing hill is located 50 yards away and is lighted for night time fun. The Greens offers roomy living and dining areas and ample sized bedrooms. NOTE: There are no beginner runs off of the top of the Super Bee lift. These can be accessed by taking the Free Resort Shuttle to the Center and West Villages.
