Keystone Winter

Winter

During winter, enjoy world-class skiing or snow-boarding at the family-friendly ski resort which boasts 3,128 vertical feet, 3,128 skiable acres and 135 trails. Keystone is also home to an award winning Terrain Park where you might find yourself riding side by side with professionals who come from all over the world to train and play at the resort. You can also enjoy ice skating, Nordic skiing, snowmobiling, scenic gondola rides, fly-fishing, tubing, snowshoeing, sleigh rides, and wine tastings. Keystone’s Nordic Center offers more than nine miles of groomed trails and access to more than 35 miles of trails in the White River National Forest. A great way to see Keystone is with Keystone Adventure Tours. In the comfort of a heated Snow cat, you’ll travel above the tree line to 12,000 feet for a breathtaking view of Keystone and the Rockies. For a twist, participate in a geo-cache adventure. Pinpoint a hidden “treasure” by entering pre-determined latitude and longitude waypoints into a Garmin eTrex Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver then use it to find up to three hidden caches along Keystones hiking and biking trails.
