Steamboat Winter

You can’t beat skiing or snowboarding in Steamboat’s ultimate Champagne Powder® in Winter.

Steamboat Ski Resort caters to various ski levels with four different terrain parks. Steamboat’s signature Mavericks terrain park, consists of terrain and features spread across 14 acres, an outdoor music system and a 450-foot long, 56-foot wide superpipe. Lil’ Rodeo Park is the beginner park and is popular with kids of all ages. If you’re lucky you may just see future Olympic skiers on the slopes.

Our Peak Experience activities in winter include powder skiing with Steamboat Powdercats which operates on Buffalo Pass and has been serving up backcountry powder since 1983.

Snowshoeing, Cross country skiing in the backcountry and ice climbing at nearby Fish Creek Falls is offered by one our of outstanding guide services in the area. Off-slope you can enjoy horseback riding, snowmobiling, sleigh ride dinners, hot springs, dog sledding, ice and fly-fishing, (ice & fly), ice skating, Nordic skiing, and snow tubing.
